Happy birthday

Pastor John Phipps and Brandy McCormick two of my favorite peeps in the world.

Missed the drive-by for Pastor John and the cupcakes with Brandy, but said many a prayer for both as I took a very long walk to clear my head of some bad things that tried to creep in. Long walks I have heard was a favorite of a friend of mine, so I tried it today and was a very soothing experience and maybe lost a few pounds on the way :).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU BOTH!!!!!

 Isaiah 26:3

“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you.”

Matthew 6:25

“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?”

Amazing when you search for answers and they all lead back to Jesus, and living for Him and not yourself.

Blessings start to flow, your eyes see a whole new vision of glory and understanding of things that happen around you.

1 Corinthians 2:16

“‘For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?’ But we have the mind of Christ.”

Saturday with the wife in Sarasota.

It was my birthday weekend and decided to travel to the Amish Country in Sarasota.

We decided to see the Para Surfers by the skyway as we headed south first.
Nice View from side of road

Went to the Pumpkin Festival next and enjoyed some old town farm fun and a little craft fair. Got to help reset a tent that the wind blew over as soon as we got there, so hopefully wasn't a sign of things to come.

Time to go get some fuel for our bodies and have a nice sit down at Yoders Amish Restaurant.

Got Denise to try some Fried Okra.
Thats a where is the napkin to spit it out look!

Great fun with the wife and some great god sightings while we were out and about the Tampa Bay area.

Tebow

Well now that Tim Tebow has won again, against the Bears who will be first to complain about his Christianity?

More when will they start reporting that he is a winner, whether it be ugly or pretty he is winning. He loves his God and that draws criticism for nothing more than having faith in GOD. Something our forefathers also had and printed on our money and more.

What would the nay Sayers be doing if a Muslim doing this, oh yes that would be a great and glorious thing to them. Guess they wouldn't report that he threw a 50 yard bomb to his wide receiver would they.

Congrats Tim for not bowing down to the feeble minded reporters.
