Why all the fuss!

 A church wants to burn a Quran, and everyone is having a hissy fit. I do not like to see it either, but why don't we see this outrage when a Bible or American flag gets burned in the Middle east.

 Well the Quran will get burned unfortunately it looks like, and more outrage will come and the Bible will be burnt, the Stars and Stripes will be burnt and not a thing will be said because of the excessive political correctness in this country.

 Never have we cow towed to a group of people, all because we fear a plane being flown into a building.
Guess they did succeed on 9/11 after all.

A legislative candidate from Wisconsin can't use a profane, racially charged phrase to describe herself on the ballot, an election oversight board decided Wednesday.

Ieshuh Griffin, an independent running for a downtown Milwaukee seat in the state Assembly, wants to use the phrase, "NOT the 'whiteman's b----.'"

But the state's Government Accountability Board voted to bar that wording, agreeing with a staff recommendation that it is pejorative and therefore not allowed.

State law allows independent candidates to have five words describing themselves placed after their names on the ballot as long as it's not pejorative, profane, discriminatory or includes an obscene word or phrase.

Griffin, who is black, argued her case to the five white, retired judges on the board that regulates elections. She said the phrase was protected free speech.

"It's a freedom of expression," she said. "It's not racial. It's not a slur."

She convinced three of the judges that the wording should be allowed, but two said it should not. One judge was absent, and Griffin needed four votes to succeed. Griffin said she intends to seek an injunction in federal court."

Now just imagine a white guy trying this in Harlem, not saying there would be reverse discrimination or the Reverend Jesse calling  for a congressional committee overview. 

Well guess that is what i am saying. "Not the Black Candidates B____....."

Small town America is starting to face the illegal immigration problem face on: Found this on yahoo.

 Voters in the eastern Nebraska city of Fremont have approved a ban on hiring or renting property to illegal immigrants.

The special election in Fremont on Monday was the latest proposal in a series of immigration regulations taken up by communities around the country. About 57 percent of voters supported the measure, which is expected to be challenged in court.

Supporters say the measure is needed to make up for what they see as lax federal law enforcement. Opponents fear it could fuel discrimination.

Fremont's Hispanic population has surged in the past two decades, largely due to jobs at two nearby meatpacking plants.

Guess the Obama regime has a problem with the illegal part of the law, or losing a voter part, haven't made up my mind yet on that one yet.
